Always wanted this processor especially after watching 'Ina Garten' (Good Food Channel)she makes all cooking seem so effortless using this fabulous piece of machinery. I am a big fan of Cuisinart. You can read my last review on the older cuisinart( click read other reviews beside my name) that I bought and used since 2009 from this seller. I got this model from the company when the last one's motor died and it was in guarantee period. I had the 14 cup limited edition MP14 which was single 14 cup bowl. I liked the concept of this but to be honest its too complicated.It much more sturdy and smart. I am struggling to use this as the processed food like cheese powder or bits of stuff spills out from the back where the lid snaps in place. As you cant use smaller bowls unless they sit inside bigger bowl, you end up having to wash both or all three due to the spill. The other snag iswhn you place the chopping or grating disc on the stem and place it on the base, there is a big gap between the stem and the tube of the bowl, so your grated stuff falls in. More cleaning. again this was not a problem with the MP14.So now, I have just put away the 2 smaller bowls and am using just one big bowl and cleaning lots which just makes me use the processor less. The whole idea of a food processor is to save time, I think.So far I have'nt seen these issues in other customer reviews so I wonder if I have a faulty one especially as it was replaced? And yes, I have checked that the lid is closed properly many many times. This newer and more expensive version does not have the whisk attachment either which means I have to now get a hand mixer to do cake mixes. I will swap this one any day for my MP14.

Have had my eye on this machine for years but could never afford it. Finally I have got my Cuisinart FP16DCU food processor.Am I pleased as punch with it - is the Pope Catholic? Whats not to like about it.Ok its a bit heavy but rather than than some flimsy thing likely to fall to bits in two minutes.
