You get what you pay for

Well I knew when I bought this it wouldn't be Kitchen Aid quality as it is so cheap in comparison. But I dont think even at this price it's value for money because it has problems. Wish I hadn't bought it:1. The instructions are woeful - do not be fooled by the product name - it is Chinese and the instructions suffer from poor translation, are brief to the point of being nearly useless. There is no website support back-up as you get from many manufacturers these days.2. The product came with a load of plastic perforated rings - in addition to the expected metal versions for the mincer attachment. There is nothing to indicate what they are to be used for and no one to ask!3. The overall build quality is not good and it does have a "cheap" feel to it. The metal parts are not high quality and difficult to clean.4. The mincer is a particular problem - there is no real guide as to how to put it together - it is easy to put the cutting blade in the wrong way round.5. The parts are difficult to clean especially getting rid of raw meat caught up in it - it is not dish washable6. Having used it 3 times for mincing beef I have noticed that corrosion and rust have now appeared on the metal mincer parts especially the rings (maybe that's why they include the plastic ones!)All in all while it works as a mixer, mincer and liquidizer it does none of them very well. It's a good price and looks good but I wish I'd coughed up the few hundred more for a Kitchen Aid or Kenwood. Fear this will be put away in a cupboard and not used!PS Now in the process of replacing this purchase with a KitchenAid Artisan which I should have bought in the first place!

I search on line at all the different food mixers that are out there for saleEventually I chose Charles Jacobs Mixer - maily due to its accessories that came with it. A meat grinder and liquidiser and we also found that you can make pasta shapes with it too. A bonus we thought.Alot of big mixers are just for show (especially the coloured ones) and only do one thing. We chose this one for the price and what it will do.and it arrived very quickly and affeciently from Amazon

i have found my Charles Jacobs food processor very easy to use. With the variable speeds i have made everything from cakes to icing, protected cover is great for using with icing sugar, Would recomend this product to friends. Delivery was excellent.
