We bought this from Comet, but their site will not let me write a review for some reason, so here goes..........We loved the looks of this (the photo doesn't show the cool dual colour scheme) but from day 1 the water dispenser leaked from it's spout about 30 seconds after you had finished using it, trickling water down the front and onto our laminate floor - not good.Comet replaced the water tank and pump located in the top door - leak not fixed. LG advised them to replace the entire top door - that one leaked too. Comet replaced the entire fridge freezer - that one leaked too. We had enough by then, so Comet agreed to swap the LG for a Panasonic, with NO WATER DISPENSER - bliss - and it is whisper quiet, whereas you could definitely hear the LG from other rooms in our flat.Comet were great, but it's a shame you can't talk to LG direct. Your options are to write to them in Korea (!) or call their technical helpline at £1.50 a minute (!!)

I bought this to replace an integrated unit so it had to fit in to a certain space (with the cabinet removed) and I mainly chose it because it was the largest (volume) on the market that would fit in the tight space I had. On this count it is excellent the fridge compartment is twice as big as my last one and the freezer is similar but wastes less space so holds more even though a section is taken up with the ice tray.The water cooler is fine and doesnt leak but it is a little hard to open as it is an airtight sealwith fiddly clips.I think the shelve spacers could be laid out better as there is limited door space for large bottles because of the water dispenser and it would have been nice to have slightly wider shelf gaps.I would warn you not to turn off the open door alarm as we did that and accidentally left the freezer open a bit and it became super iced up.Would buy again.

I love my fridge freezer- it's huge, it's quiet, it's good-looking, and cold (of course).However, it was delivered with a part missing internally (the pump that pumps chilled drinking water out). We submitted some customer service thing on the web site, and amazon phoned me. After 15 minutes of trying to get a woman with the most basic command of english to understand what the problem was (she had asked if I wanted the order tracked, which item was missing as there was only one item on the order, what happens when you plug it in etc), she finally latched onto the word "defect" and I thought we might make progress.She then asked if there were lines on the screen. I have no idea what fridges look like in her country, but here they don't have screens. So I gave up and said goodbye, and informed her that I didn't have time to try and explain it to her, and that was I was going to call the manufacturer.So I hung up, told my wife what had happened, and picked the phone up again (to phone for a doctor's appointment, actually), only to find her still there, so i was unable to use the phone. I told her that the conversation was over etc, and hung up again. I did this three times, and even threatened to contact the police as her call had become a nuisance as she would not free up my phone line.Eventually, I waited a good minute or two before picking the phone up. She was still there, but not speaking, so I hung up again, and finally she hung up ad I was able to use my phone.Oh, and later I phoned LG who sent out a replacement part free of charge :-)Amazon, if you're reading this (as you didn't respond to my feedback to "did the call resolve your problem", get some customer service people who know what a fridge is please!
